In my opinion, your best bet is to stick with online dating.

At least with online dating you can get to know the person and see what they (supposedly look like) before meeting them.

Blind date, had nothing but bad experiences with this one.  It is crazy the things people lie about.
School, yes in college I did find easy to meet people to date, if you just put yourself out there and get to know people.
Job, my rule is that it is a bad idea to mix business and pleasure, so no dating for me at work.
Bar, ya I don't think i'd want to use the bar to find a serious dating prospects.
